Our "Featured Artist" Exhibitions:-

* Each "slot" lasts for 4 weeks.
* Hanging Day is normally the Thursday before the Launch Day
* Approx. 1/3 of the Gallery wallspace is devoted to the artist(s)
* Moontree will help the artist(s) to hang the work
* Moontree will promote and advertise the exhibition as much as possible. This will include:
Making Posters and Flyers for distribution
Sending details and invitations to almost 900 recipients of our newsletters
Making Facebook Events and invitations to all our "friends"
Sending out press releases to local papers, magazines, radio and television stations
* Moontree will purchase all wine and nibbles for the Launch Day
* The Launch Day will be the first Saturday of the exhibition, from 10.00 till 5.30, with the artist(s) in attendance if possible
* The commission on Sales will be 35%

(We do, of course, need to charge for all the above work. The Gallery Hire Fee for 2012 is £150 inclusive, payable on Hanging Day. This fee has not changed from 2011. )

Moontree also takes work on a Sale-or-Return basis. There is no charge for this. Commission on Sales will be 35%.
Occasionally, we are able to rent an agreed area of wallspace to an artist for a period of time. The space can be up to approx. 4 sq.m. The cost is negotiable, depending on the actual space. Commission on Sales will be 25%.

This is an exhibition of new still life oil paintings, especially produced for the Moontree Gallery, by artist Tanya Saffron Weall. The exhibition looks at the theme of chance in the realm of love. And the paintings attempt to ask to what extent qualities such as youth, sexuality, beauty or wealth can divert and distract our attentions, making us see something that isn’t real?
